Within the framework of cooperation between Ebla Private University and UNESCO.

Today ended the third workshop, which was entitled (Sustainable Development, Cultural Diversity and Youth Participation),

which lasted for three days.

The first day began with the opening speech of Dr. Sabri Hassan, head of the UNESCO scientific and research team,

and a speech by Prof. Dr. Riyad Al-Mustafa, President of Ebla University,

and a speech by Eng. Issa Tahan, Coordinator of Education Programs At UNESCO, Aleppo.

The first day included five sessions on cultural diversity,

 

 

the second day five sessions on sustainable development,

and the third day included a round table on youth participation and discussions on cultural diversity and sustainable development.

A group of young leaders in the branches of the United Nations working in Syria participated as facilitator of the five sessions. UNDP, UNFPA, IECD),

 

and we reached in the workshop a set of recommendations and important issues that will be followed up with the private and public sector, civil society, and the relevant international organizations working on the ground in Syria.
