Contemporary global developments (the globalization of the economy, the spread of information technology, the Internet, the International Standards Organization ISO ........etc) necessitate that economic organizations follow the conscious scientific method in the face of these developments and invest effective human energies in improving operational performance and sales flexibly more efficient and effective.

The concept of total quality management, which aims to achieve the quality of products and services, has become one of the most important concepts that institutions seek to achieve to ensure the satisfaction and loyalty of their customers, as the happiness and satisfaction of customers would achieve an increase in profitability and support for its competitive position, and supports the achievement of competitive advantage for the organization. The issue of cost reduction is the main concern of management in organizations, and the study, analysis and application of quality costs (prevention, evaluation, internal failure and external failure) contribute to the production of high-quality products at low cost, which leads to selling them in the market at competitive prices that enable the organization to gain a high market share, relatively speaking, which supports the organization for a sustainable competitive advantage that ensures its survival, continuity and growth in the markets.

Taguchi focused on the state of dissatisfaction that may occur in the customer and the quality loss function, and under this method all costs associated with poor quality are determined, as it is explained how these costs increase when products deviate from goods and services from exactly what the customer wants, and these include The costs associated with customer dissatisfaction in addition to the costs of scrap, repairs and the costs of default towards society ................ etc.

According to the Taguchi method, community losses are due to poor performance, the more the product is close to the target, the losses are fewer and the product is desirable. In products to be zero defects in order to gain customer satisfaction by obtaining a good product at a reasonable price.
